URGENTLY NEEDED:  FOSTER CARE FOR OUR ANIMALS

Recent changes in the operation of the SCHS highlighted the need for more foster homes and more adoptions.  We have  22 dogs and 25 cats of all sizes, shapes and colors who need a permanent home or a temporary foster home.  Foster homes are a great asset because animals can get individual attention and be socialized thus making them more adoptable. Science Diet provides the SCHS with nutritious food for our animals.  Check out their site at HillsPet.com

SCHS provides food and any needed medical attention for animals in foster homes. Please consider caring enough to share your home with one of our dogs--either permanently or as a foster home.  Call  870-269-2704 to adopt or foster.

The city is looking into an animal control program.  We support their efforts and look forward to working with them.  Many of the problems associated with animals could be eliminated if owners would spay or neuter their animals.  To have  your animals spayed or neutered contact your local veterinarian or call for an appointment at 870-746-5055.
