Bobo showed up as a stray and was never claimed. He has a very sweet, laid back personality, but he is high energy! He will sit for treats and calms down when receiving attention, but he needs a lot of attention! Bobo does well with other dogs, kids and would probably adjust to cats too. He was very skinny when he came here and still is- he could gain a few pounds but he shouldn’t get much bigger than 45 lbs. He is a little over a year old and currently weighs 40lbs. He is on the smaller side for a hound. Bobo needs a lot of exercise and attention or he is very vocal- he would make a great family pet or companion for an active person. He does need some work on house training (he has never been inside but doesn’t potty in his room here).

**Bobo does have a tendency to jump up on people and be loud, so we sent him to the prison … Bobo was enrolled in the Paws in Prison Program for 8 weeks of obedience training!  He will be at the North Central Unit in Calico Rock.  He will be house trained, leash trained, and learn some tricks too. They might even be able to teach him to only “TALK” when told to do so, we will see :). Bobo will graduate in early November.
