Chico is a 2 year old, 70 pound Shepherd Mix. Chico was adopted from the Paws in Prison Program in Aug of 2021, but was returned because his owner got a job that involved traveling and couldn’t take him along. He still remembers some of his commands from the Prison and is housetrained. Chico loves both inside and outside and does well with other animals. He was adopted with another PIP dog, Gregory, and they love each other but do not have to be adopted together. Chico does need a home with another dog however, because he cries when left alone. Chico is a little on the shy side but follows people everywhere when in a home. He becomes protective of his owner and barks/growls at strangers but is overall a calm and attentive dog.
