Danu’s (Dah-new) owner wants to have free range animals but Danu kills chickens, so she is here now. Danu is very friendly and affectionate. She looks like a German Shorthaired Pointer, but with longer hair (her mother is a Newfoundland). Danu is good with other dogs, including small dogs. She has a very calm nature and is house trained, but is prey driven – she will chase anything that runs including cats. She also likes to wander, so a home with a fenced in yard or lots of acreage would be best for her. She is almost a year old and weighs 68lbs.
