Georgia

Greyhound MixGeorgia is a year and a half old and weighs 70lbs. She is slender and tall with beautiful bold brownish-red patches on her white fur. We think she may have some Greyhound and/or Great Dane in her. Georgia is friendly and loves other dogs but thinks cats are food. She has a lot of energy and loves to play in her water bowl. She does best with another dog to rough-house with but a home with no other dogs that offers constant attention will be just fine.  She likes riding in the car as well, so she would be a great adventure buddy! Georgia does not realize how big she is and could knock younger kids down trying to play, so a home with older children/no children is suggested. Georgia also loves stuffed animals so much that she loves them to death (aka tears them to pieces).

**Georgia was enrolled in the Paws in Prison Program and completed 8 weeks of obedience training.  She was house trained and learn commands like sit, stay and down. She was a little frightened at the prison and this interfered with her training, but she is much more calm now and listens a lot better than she did before going. This demonstrates that Georgia is very trainable if you wanted to further her abilities.
