Jersey is such a survivor! She showed up on someone’s land, the closest house 9 miles away. No one claimed her. She was most likely dumped in the woods and left for dead, but she marched on in rugged terrain and found herself loving people who helped get her to the shelter. We think she is a shepherd mix but could grow up looking different. Jersey is very quiet for a puppy and a little shy, but she loves to be held and to play with toys. She would make a great pet for anyone and would be good with other dogs and kids as well. She is not housetrained, like all puppies, but seems very smart.
