The person who found Tracker in the woods was not even sure if the dog was alive when he first spotted him. Tracker was a sack of skin and bones, very emaciated. The man nursed him back to health and planned to keep him, but circumstances forced the man to surrender Tracker to us. This handsome hound is such a gentle and calm fellow. He gets along great with other dogs and we hear he even snuggles with kittens! He was covered in seed ticks upon arrival and tested positive for the tick disease, but is being treated with antibiotics. Tracker would make a great hiking buddy, but he would also be a great porch dog. I don’t know if he has ever been inside a home but he does not potty in his outside kennel here so he would be easy to housetrain. Tracker would need a fenced in yard as the hunting breed in him creates a tendency to wander. Tracker about 2 years old and currently weighs 52lbs, but we hope he will gain about 5 more pounds
