Catarina, aka Cat, was VERY shy and hid when she first got here. We treated her for an ear infection and got rid of her ear mites and now she is much more social. She now accepts pets but you have to go to her, she will not come to you. Cat is still very timid but loves getting her cheeks scratched and will roll over and allow belly rubs. That means there is hope! Will you give Catarina a chance at the good life in your home?

Trixie came to us from a home with too many cats. She is very friendly, socialized, and loves attention. She is more on the laid back side and is good with other cats, dogs, and kids. She would make a great family pet. She has been both inside and outside and is litter box trained. Trixie loves a warm blanket in the sun in our window of the cat cottage. Can she snuggle up in the sun with you?
Peaches is a super sweet, friendly and laid back kitty. She does well with other cats, dogs, and kids too. She was surrendered from a family with too many cats. She has been both indoors and outdoors and is litter box trained. Peaches is also spayed and current on vaccinations.
Gingie is the sweetest little ball of soft fur you will ever touch. She is about 7 years old, very mellow and laid back but also playful. She has been known to toss toys in the air and run around with them in her mouth…she is very good at entertaining herself! Gingie also loves to get belly rubs and to be in your lap. She is dog friendly and does ok with other cats, but it takes awhile for her get used to them. She is litter box trained, spayed and fully vetted. She has been both indoors and outdoors but prefers a comfy, warm place inside to cuddle up. Can Gingie be your new cuddle buddy?
Miss Ginger has a grumpy face, but she is sweet as can be! Her and her brother George just love to lay around together on our soft blankets. They are adjusting well to being inside and do very well with other kitties. They are both litter box trained and fixed. Ginger is pretty calm and laid back and she has the softest fur! She is also on the petite side and will most likely stay fairly small. This sweetheart won’t be here long, so if you’re interested in meeting her, put your application in today! She is about 8 months old.
Darla is so beautiful! She has a very regal look about her. She is calm, quiet, and affectionate. She does good with dogs and most other cats and probably wouldn’t mind kids either. She enjoys being both inside and outside. Darla is litter box trained, spayed and current on shots. This sweet little lady needs a loving family or person to take her in!
This big eared cutie is Everly. She was surrendered to us by a family that couldn’t care for her and her 3 siblings. She is very friendly and will jump all over you, desperate for affection. She has been outdoors her entire life in a small pen, so she is excited when she gets to be with people. Everly is adapting very well to being inside the shelter and would love being in a warm, comfy home. She will need some work on house training but most outside dogs learn quick, plus we offer free obedience training via Dog Academy. We were told her mother was a shepherd mix but not sure about Dad. She is currently 7 months old and only weighs 20lbs, so she will not be a very big dog, probably 30 pounds full grown. Everly is good with kids and other dogs and will make a wonderful pet for the lucky family that snags her up first! She is spayed and fully vetted.

Bobbi is a rare sight…a diluted calico with a bob tail…or no tail really! She also has beautiful green eyes. Her owner had to go into a nursing home, so she was brought here. Bobbi is very shy and used to run and hide from us, but she is getting used to being here and is settling down. She allows us to approach her and pet her now! Bobbi is spayed, litterbox trained and does well with other kitties. She has only been inside but might like to adventure outside at some point. Bobbi will need a patient home that will give her the time and space to hide until she is comfortable enough to come out and say hello, but that won’t take too long!
**Star was enrolled in the Paws in Prison Program for 8 weeks of obedience training. She will be at the North Central Unit in Calico Rock. She will be crate trained, learn manners, and she will learn lots of tricks as well!
