**Percy was enrolled in the Paws in Prison Program for 8 weeks of obedience training. He was at the North Central Unit in Calico Rock was crate trained, learned manners and he learned a few tricks as well! Percy graduated in early February and went to a home, but it did not work out. No fault of his own – the home was just too busy and loud for him, so he was very anxious.

Read more about Percy below…Percy is your typical Staffordshire cuddle bug. He came from a home of 11 dogs that were not being fed or given attention. Percy craves human affection because of this and is very eager to please. Percy is calm, gentle and like I said, just wants to cuddle. Don’t get me wrong, can gets excited and hyper like any dog, but he isn’t always like that. Percy gets along with other dogs and doesn’t mind kitties. and would you just look at those ears?!  He will make a great addition to any calm and quiet home that will welcome and spoil him. He is about 1.5 years old and weighs 55 lbs.

Abbi

**Abbi was enrolled in the Paws in Prison Program for 8 weeks of obedience training. She will be at the North Central Unit in Calico Rock. She will be crate trained, house trained, learn manners and she will learn lots of tricks as well! Abbi is the sweetest little thing.  She showed up as a stray and was never claimed.  We think she is a terrier mix, just not sure what she is mixed with.  She’s okay with cats, chickens and other dogs too.  She has not been around kids, but would do fine.  She has been both indoors and outdoors and just loves people! Abbi has puppy energy and will run and play, but she also enjoys quiet time curled up in a warm lap. Can she come cuddle up with you? Abbi is about 6 months old and weighs 25lbs…won’t get much bigger.

Khaleesi

Husky Mix**Khaleesi was enrolled in the Paws in Prison Program for 8 weeks of obedience training. She will be at the North Central Unit in Calico Rock. This beautiful dog came to us as a stray and was never claimed. Khaleesi (ka-lee-cee) is very energetic but does respond to simple commands.  She craves human attention and only wants to please. We have no idea what her previous life was but she is kind of a mess! She will wine (like a Husky) and jump all over you, but once you pet her and give her affection, she calms down.  She also is very vocal trying to get your attention. We think the poor girl may have been kept in a kennel with no socialization, so she is desperate for attention and affection. Khaleesi needs a home that will offer constant attention. She would make a great dog for someone looking for a constant companion  they can take with them everywhere.  She is almost 2 years old and weighs 60lbs.
