Goldie is a beautiful and super affectionate adult kitty. She has gorgeous green eyes and black freckles on her nose, very unique! She has mostly been outdoors, but she doesn’t seem to mind where she is as long as she is getting attention and lovies. She is about 3 years old, spayed, litterbox trained and in need of a loving home! She will climb in your lap and is super affectionate, but she does not like being picked up. Dover is a very affectionate, friendly, and energetic dog. His owner was just too old to care for him properly. He has been indoors and outdoors, and is partially house trained (occasionally marks). He really needs a family/person that can give him the play time he needs and the affection he deserves. Dover is good with other female dogs but tries to dominate the males. He loves to chase balls, chew on bones and craves human attention. He would make a great companion for an active someone or the perfect addition to an active family that wants a dog to bring along for the ride. Dover is currently 4 years old and weighs 57lbs.

Zane came to us with 6 of his siblings, Clover, Cora, Cici, Zeke, Margo and Mango. Dad is a Red Heeler and Mom a Shepherd Mix. They all have the biggest ears you have ever seen! Zane has been both inside and outside and is good with cats, kids, and other dogs. He is very timid but we are working on that and giving him tons of socialization and reassurance. He really enjoys affection, but he will take time (a few weeks) to settle into your home. Patience is necessary with puppies that are scared like this litter is. He is not house trained but we offer free online basic obedience and house training via Dog Academy. Zane will make a great addition to any home looking to add an active puppy to their family. He was born 1/1/25 and will be 40-50lbs full grown.

Leroy came from a home that has too many dogs. He and his 5 siblings grew up in a small pen with little socialization. He craves affection and accepts it! Leroy is underweight but has a healthy appetite and is eating well. Leroy is very sweet and just wants to be loved. He can be on the timid side at first, so he will take a little time to get used to you, but don’t let that stop you from taking this sweet boy home. Lefty came from a home that has too many dogs. He and his 5 siblings grew up in a small pen with little socialization. He craves affection and accepts it, but can be a little shy at first. He was so scared the first day he came to the shelter that we had to carry him everywhere. Today, he wonders around with curiosity and excitement. He is still a little timid, but is getting more confident each day. He just needs to learn that he is safe and that we aren’t going to harm him. Lefty had never been brushed or bathed before we got him so his coat is pretty ragged, but we are brushing him daily to get it looking good again. He is not housetrained but only goes in his outside area here, so should be easily trained. We offer free online obedience training to all of our adopters via Dog Academy to help with that. Lefty will be a wonderful dog for any dog loving home! He is about a year old and weighs 55lbs.

Lucy is a beautiful 10 year old Tortoiseshell cat. She is super affectionate has been very well cared for and socialized. She loves to come in the lobby and be near people; whether they are giving her pets or not, she just loves to be around people. She has had minimal interaction with other cats and wants to keep it that way, so a home where she would be the only kitty is best. She has not been around dogs. Lucy is not happy being in the shelter environment and really needs to find a home soon! She is used to being an indoor/outdoor kitty and she loves to ride in the car!

Clover has gained a lot of confidence since being at the shelter and loves attention. She is harness trained and also loves going for walks. She is very good at entertaining herself with toys and is pretty calm when she is by herself. When she around other dogs she is energetic and ready to play.
