Zane came to us with 6 of his siblings, Clover, Cora, Cici, Zeke, Margo and Mango. Dad is a Red Heeler and Mom a Shepherd Mix. They all have the biggest ears you have ever seen! Zane has been both inside and outside and is good with cats, kids, and other dogs. He is very timid but we are working on that and giving him tons of socialization and reassurance. He really enjoys affection, but he will take time (a few weeks) to settle into your home. Patience is necessary with puppies that are scared like this litter is. He is not house trained but we offer free online basic obedience and house training via Dog Academy. Zane will make a great addition to any home looking to add an active puppy to their family. He was born 1/1/25 and will be 50-60lbs full grown.

It is kitten season and we are starting to get litters of kittens! These babies can not officially be adopted until they are fixed, but you can come and reserve one today! They are litterbox trained and have only been indoors. They will be fixed before adoption.
Leroy came from a home that has too many dogs. He and his 5 siblings grew up in a small pen with little socialization. He craves affection and accepts it! Leroy is underweight but has a healthy appetite and is eating well. He is the smallest of the bunch, so the other dogs must have not been letting him get to the food…poor guy! He is not housetrained but we offer free online obedience training to all of our adopters via Dog Academy. Leroy is very sweet and just wants to be loved. He will make a wonderful dog for anyone looking for a companion. He is about a year old.
Lefty came from a home that has too many dogs. He and his 5 siblings grew up in a small pen with little socialization. He craves affection and accepts it, but can be a little shy at first. He was so scared the first day he came to the shelter that we had to carry him everywhere. Today, he wonders around with curiosity and excitement. He is still a little timid, but is getting more confident each day. He just needs to learn that he is safe and that we aren’t going to harm him. Lefty had never been brushed or bathed before we got him so his coat is pretty ragged, but we are brushing him daily to get it looking good again. He is not housetrained but only goes in his outside area here, so should be easily trained. We offer free online obedience training to all of our adopters via Dog Academy to help with that. Lefty will be a wonderful dog for any dog loving home! He is about a year old and weighs 55lbs.
Petey is such a good boy! He loves other dogs and going for walks. If you tell him you’re going to take his picture he will pose for you (very cute!). He knows basic commands and is very eager to please. Petey can be timid around some people, but for the most part he is friendly. He would do best in a home with another dog or with a person/family that would take him everywhere with them – he tends to get anxious when left alone and is known to bark. Petey has great energy and is a fun dog that would make a great addition to any dog loving home. He is 3 years old and 55lbs.
Aquilla was a stray found on a farm and was well taken care of before coming to the shelter. He is friendly, affectionate and likes to play with other dogs. He has a very sweet disposition and is pretty easy-going. He is neutered and current on vaccinations. Aquilla is also housetrained and does great with kids. He is about a year old and weighs 58 pounds…he shouldn’t get much bigger.
Moose is very shy but also very sweet. He came to us with his siblings, Bean and Fish. They were rescued as kittens and kept inside but never received much attention. He is the biggest of the bunch and probably the bravest. He is warming up quickly to all our attention and care. He is litter box trained, neutered and fully vetted. Moose needs a home that will be patient while he settles in; the world is scary and mysterious right now. He is almost 2 years old.
Buddy is super sweet and loves attention. He was surrendered because his owner went into a nursing home. He has only been outdoors before we got him but enjoys being inside at our shelter. He is heart worm positive and receiving treatment. He will be available for adoption after his treatment, which ends April 17. Buddy is good with other dogs, cats, and kids too. He is full of energy and very smart. We only have to show him how to something once and he understands (like walking with a harness and leash). He likes cuddles and to chew on stuffies. Buddy will make a great companion for any dog lover.
Hunter has the most beautiful green eyes and has a really sweet personality. He came to us with his sister Harlow, both showed up as strays after birth. He has primarily been outside but has done well with coming into our shelter. He is neutered, litter box trained and on the calmer side. He hasn’t been around many other cats but would probably adapt well. He loves a soft spot to curl up on, maybe your lap? Hunter is currently 8 months old (as of 2/15/25).
