Guy is a brown tabby which is very unique as we usually just see gray & blk tabbies! Guy was very well taken care of but the man just had too many cats and had to surrender some to us. Guy lived outdoors but is adjusting to the sounds and sights in the shelter and doing well. He does this cute thing where he ducks down behind things, thinking we can’t see him and he slowly raises his head then ducks back down…he is very playful. He also loves affection. Guy is neutered, litter box trained and very sweet. He will make a wonderful pet for any cat lover. He is about a year old.

Buddy is a “muted” gray tabby…very handsome boy! He came to us with his brother Romeo who is his twin. The guy that took them in took really good care of them but just had too many cats. They lived outdoors but are adjusting to the sounds and sights in the shelter and doing well. Buddy is neutered, litter box trained and very sweet. He loves cheek scratches and affection. He will make a wonderful pet for any cat lover. Buddy is almost a year old.
Romeo came to us with his two brothers, Guy and Buddy. They all 3 could be triplets they look so much alike, except, Romeo is the biggest. He is a very light gray tabby. They were all surrendered to us because the person had too many cats. Their mother showed up as a stray and had kittens. He was only outside before coming to our shelter, but is litter box trained. He is friendly but a little shy. He enjoys cheek scratches and treats.
Thor came from a bad situation where he and 11 other dogs were not being fed or given any attention. In spite of all that, Thor is friendly and craves affection. He loves back scratches and cuddles! He appears to be a little hard of hearing but he is not deaf. Since being here he has learned how to walk on a leash and sit for treats. He is very smart and eager to please. He is also a goofball and we all love him…you will too! Thor is about 3 years old, weighs 55lbs and is house-trained.
Finch came to us with his brother, Ford. They were surrendered from a family that had too many dogs they could not take care of. He is a little on the shy side, but warms up quickly with treats and gentle pets. His nick-name is “Mouth” because he gets his mouth searching all over us, looking for treats. Finch is just over a year old and full grown at 30 lbs. He has only been outdoors, but loves laying inside the shelter on his bed, chewing on toys. He is good with other dogs and older, considerate kids (his searching for treats could overwhelm a small child). Finch also loves to fetch and go for walks. He is a great little guy!
Ford arrived with so much fear that we couldn’t touch him. He was surrendered from a home that had too many animals and just didn’t receive any socialization. We paired him with another puppy that loves people and he learned from her that people are good and pets are awesome! He is still a little scared but loves affection if you smother him with it! Ford has only been outdoors but is adapting well to an inside room and getting used to a bed. He has also learned to walk well on a leash. Ford is about a year old and almost full grown at 40lbs. He really needs a chance in a loving home and we feel he will really come out of his shell and blossom. Will you give Ford and his big ears a chance?
Dover is a very affectionate, friendly, and energetic dog. His owner was just too old to care for him properly. He has been indoors and outdoors, and is house trained. He needs a family/person that can give him the play time and exercise he needs as well as the affection he desires. He LOVES walks but also likes to sit and chew on a good bone. Dover is good with most dogs, both male and female. He loves to chase balls, chew on bones and will go in circles for booty scratches. He would make a great companion for an active person/family. Dover is currently 4 years old and weighs 57lbs.
Leroy came from a home that has too many dogs. He and his 5 siblings grew up in a small pen with little socialization. Leroy is slender but has a healthy appetite and is eating well. He is just very energetic and ready for action. He is very timid with strangers, so he will take a little time to get used to you, but don’t let that stop you from taking this sweet boy home. He will make a wonderful dog for any patient person looking for a companion. Leroy is almost 2 years old and weighs 50 lbs.
Lefty came from a home that had too many dogs. He and his 5 siblings grew up in a small pen with little socialization. He craves affection and accepts it, but will be very timid at first. He was so scared the first day he came to the shelter that we had to carry him everywhere. He is still a little timid, but is getting more confident each day. He does great with the people that have taken the time to get to know him. You will either have to take him home and be patient with him, or keep coming to the shelter to visit with him until he knows you and is ready to go home with you. Lefty will be a wonderful dog for any patient person willing to work with him! He is about 2 years old and weighs 55lbs.
Petey is such a good boy! He loves other dogs and going for walks. If you tell him you’re going to take his picture he will pose for you (very cute!). He knows basic commands and is very eager to please. Petey can be timid around some people, but for the most part he is friendly. He would probably do best in a home with another dog to keep him company and give him confidence, but he might be just fine on his own in the right setting. Petey has great energy and is a fun dog that would make a great addition to any dog loving home. He is almost 4 years old and 55lbs.
