Steve-O came to us with 5 of his siblings. They were dumped in a crate on the porch of a store. We have no idea what breed the parents are… all of them look a little different. Steve-O has the most beautiful hazel eyes and is white and red. He is more on the laid back side and keeps to himself but loves his toys. He loves other dogs and would be good with kids and cats too. He does need some work with house training but these babies are desperate for affection and are very eager to please, so house training should not be hard.

Sheamus is a really playful, fun puppy. There always has to be a bossy one in the bunch and that one is Sheamus. He keeps everyone in line! He came to us with his 5 siblings after being dumped in a crate behind a store. We have no idea what the parents are or what breed he is, but definitely very cute. His hair has a wiry texture, so could have some terrier breed too. He is not house trained.
Baxter is a character! When he first arrived, he was very scared and nipped at us. It only took about 20 minutes for him to start giving kisses though. He can’t decide if he wants to be the tough guy or love bug, but he is the only male in this litter of 6, so maybe he is just playing the big brother role. Either way, he may take a minute to warm up to you, but after that he is all love! He loves to play with toys and other dogs. He has been around cats and kids and doesn’t mind either (although he may chase a cat when he has a burst of energy). Baxter would add a lot of laughter and fun to any home. His mother is Red Heeler (40lbs) and dad may have been a Carolina Dog, but we do not know. He was born on Dec 9, 2022.
Klein is very friendly and craves attention. He gets along with other dogs and would probably be good with cats too. Klein is a happy little guy that would make a great pet for any dog lover. He craves adventure and wants to be involved in everything, so an active household would be best. He is mostly white with lite orange/tan patches, a very handsome little dude!
Zeke is a wonderful young cat. The family had him since birth and he is very socialized and friendly. They just had too many cays to keep him. He loves to roam around the cat cottage checking on everyone and playing with random toys he comes across. Zeke is litter box trained and has been both inside and outside. He loves to be held and would make a great kitty for any home!
Freddy is a very sweet 3 year old male that has been roaming the streets- he showed up as a stray several months ago and went from house to house in a small neighborhood to be fed. We think he was probably dumped because he loves to be picked up and held and is very friendly. He does well with other cats and is used to being outside but is loving being inside and having a soft bed to sleep on. Freddy is litter box trained, neutered and fully vetted. Now all he needs is a loving home!
Buck has stolen all of our hearts. He always appears to be smiling and literally gives hugs! He wants to be a lap dog, but as you can see, he weighs almost 60lbs, so that doesn’t work very well. He is a huge cuddle bug though. Buck was adopted from the shelter as a puppy and recently returned…his owner said he was protective of him and it was becoming an issue. We were told he became nippy with their other dog and family members. So far, we have not had any issues with him, but we are taking it slow introducing him to other dogs. He has met one other dog and did not show any aggression, he just wasn’t interested in her. Buck has also never been on a leash before. He was very afraid of them at first, but is now letting us leash him with no problem. We believe Buck will make a great dog for anyone who will smother him with the love he so desperately desires.
Preacher is a super sweet young Tiger cat. He is about 7 months old and was raised in a home. The owner fell on hard times and could not keep. He is very socialized and loves attention. He came to us with his siblings Gru and Loca. He loves other cats and would make a great family pet. He is litter box trained, neutered and ready for adoption.
Mikey came to us with his brother, Monroe. They are an owner surrender and we were told the parents were Mountain Dog and Heeler. Mikey has been outside in a pen all of his life and not given much attention. He is very shy!! If you go near him, he runs to his dog house to hide. He does very well with other dogs but has not been around cats or small kids. He is not housetrained. He is full grown at 45 pounds.
