Mikey came to us with his brother, Monroe. They are an owner surrender and we were told the parents were Mountain Dog and Heeler. Mikey has been outside in a pen all of his life and not given much attention, so he is a little shy. He doesn’t potty in his pen, so would be easy to housetrain. Mikey loves to go for walks and chew on bones. He is a pretty neat guy once you get to know him.

This young black beauty has the most shiny coat of fur and stunning yellow eyes. She was very scared at first but comes to us for pets now. The woman who found Black Pearl said Miss Pearl was very scared with her at first too, but eventually graduated to sleeping on the pillow next to her. It may take a little while for her to come around, but we have come to know that she is a real sweetheart. Black Pearl is litterbox trained, spayed and current on vaccinations. She really needs to find her forever home – she has been at the shelter far too long (since Dec 2022)!
