Clover came to us with 3 of her siblings, Cora, Casey, and Cici. Dad is a Red Heeler and Mom a Shepherd Mix. Clover has been both inside and outside and is good with cats, kids, and other dogs. She has gained a lot of confidence since being at the shelter and loves attention. She is harness trained and loves going for walks. Clover is not house trained but we offer free online basic obedience and house training via Dog Academy. She is about 5 months old, is spayed and current on shots.

She will make a great addition to any home looking to add a puppy to their family. She has gained a lot of confidence since being at the shelter and loves attention. She is harness trained and loves going for walks. Casey is not house trained but we offer free online basic obedience and house training via Dog Academy. She is about 6 months old, spayed and current on shots. She is about 35 lbs now and growing…will be about 40lbs full grown.
Petey is such a good boy! He loves other dogs and going for walks. If you tell him you’re going to take his picture he will pose for you (very cute!). He knows basic commands and is very eager to please. Petey can be timid around some people, but for the most part he is friendly. He would do best in a home with another dog or with a person/family that would take him everywhere with them – he tends to get anxious when left alone and is known to bark. Petey has great energy and is a fun dog that would make a great addition to any dog loving home. He is 3 years old and 55lbs.
**Aquilla was enrolled in the Paws in Prison Program for 8 weeks of obedience training. He will be at the North Central Unit in Calico Rock. He will be crate trained, house trained, learn manners, and he will learn lots of tricks as well! Aquilla will be looking for a forever home before he graduates in mid July, so if you are interested in meeting him, please contact us!
Buddy is super sweet and loves attention. He was surrendered because his owner went into a nursing home. He has only been outdoors before we got him but enjoys being inside at our shelter. He is heart worm positive and receiving treatment. He will be available for adoption after his treatment, which ends April 17. Buddy is good with other dogs, cats, and kids too. He is full of energy and very smart. We only have to show him how to something once and he understands (like walking with a harness and leash). He likes cuddles and to chew on stuffies. Buddy will make a great companion for any dog lover.
This little love bug is Ham, aka Hamilton or Hammy. He is full grown at 26lbs and is such a sweetheart. He loves other dogs and goes crazy for booty scratches. He is very shy at first but will love you to death if you give him time to warm up to you! He has a very gentle nature and you can tell he just wants to be loved. Ham is house-trained, neutered and up to date on shots.
Picasso is playful, sweet, and full of personality. He is very affectionate but can be a little timid at first. He has only been outside, but is loving being inside at our shelter. He is just over a year old and weighs 80lbs! He is a big, very strong boy. Picasso is good with other dogs and bigger kids (he doesn’t know his size). He loves to go for walks and loves cuddles. He does whatever the mood calls for!
Rover is one happy guy with gorgeous eyes. He is good with other dogs, cats and adults, but children scare him with their loud noises and fast movements. He is mostly house-trained except for the occasional pee accidents. He was never on a leash before we got him, but he walks great with a harness now. He is extremely smart, super sweet and needs a family or person who will shower him with attention and love. Rover is just over a year old and weighs about 80 pounds.
Hey everyone, London here! I just turned One and I am full grown at 45lbs. They tell me I am a smart cookie because I have learned so much since I got here back in February (2o24). When I arrived, I didn’t know how to walk on a leash and I pottied in my room (which I guess is a big NO NO). Now I love going for walks in my harness and catching bugs and running through the tall grass. I only use the bathroom in my outside area or the yard and I can use the doggie door as well! I really like to play with toys and with humans, but other dogs make me nervous and I can’t stand cats! I am getting used to other dogs though and might have a roommate soon, but I hope I find a forever home before then cause I really prefer to be by myself.
