Lefty came from a home that has too many dogs. He and his 5 siblings grew up in a small pen with little socialization. He craves affection and accepts it, but will be very scared at first. He was so scared the first day he came to the shelter that we had to carry him everywhere. He is still a little timid, but is getting more confident each day. He does great with the people that have taken the time to get to know him. You will either have to take him home and be patient with him, or keep coming to the shelter to visit with him until he knows you and is ready to go home with you. Lefty will be a wonderful dog for any patient person willing to work with him! He is almost 2 years old and weighs 55lbs.
