Several dogs were abandoned…their owners just up and left one day, leaving all of their belongings and animals behind. We went to the house to see the situation and one dog kept coming outside and running back in. We followed her and found that she had just given birth and had 1 baby. We brought both of them to the shelter that day. We named mom Honey and baby Maple. We don’t have any history, but we do know that Honey is very sweet, calm, friendly and has a very loving nature. We also know she is good with other dogs, cats and children. Honey is house trained and knows basic commands. She will be spayed when she is done nursing.
Honey and Maple can go into foster care together now and be adopted once spayed. They are a packaged deal until Maple is done nursing, but you do not have to adopt both of them if you are only wanting o
