Max is a happy go lucky kind of guy and loves everybody he meets and just wants to be apart of the fun. He is good with other dogs, kids, and cats too. He is very smart and already house and leash trained. He is just under a year old weighs 46lbs. We believe he is a Brittany Spaniel Mix.
We decided, because Max is so smart, he would be a great candidate for the Paws in Prison Program! He was enrolled in 8 weeks of obedience training at the North Central Unit in Calico Rock. He was crate trained, learned manners and some tricks as well!
Max graduated the program and is having to be returned to the shelter because he has not found a home yet. Please consider coming to meet Max and see if he would be a good fit for your home!
**From the trainers at PIP: Max has calmed down and seems more mature without losing his “happy go lucky” personality. He knows all the basics and about 20 tricks. He will be a very good dog for people who like high energy dogs. A really fun dog!
