Swiss Mountain DogApple came to us with her two siblings, Amberly and Ada.  She has been in a small pen her entire life (8 months) with very little attention or socialization. Apple was extremely afraid when she got here, but shows no signs of aggression; she just became stiff and wouldn’t move when approached. Apple is starting to come around and is learning that she is safe and we have her best interest in mind. She has started taking treats from us and going in and out of the yard without hesitation.  Anyone interested in adopted her will need to be patient and visit a few times or take her home and give her the time and space to adjust. She will most likely do best in a home with other dogs, but we are not sure. You can always foster her to see how she does in your home. She has never been inside so is not house trained per say, but she only potties in her outside area here. She does know how to use the doggie door.
