Luke came to us with his sister, London. They were surrendered because their owner had too many dogs. He looks like a Black Mouth Cur/Shepherd Mix to us. He is a very active and playful dog and needs a place to run and play with people who will give him lots of attention. He is very affectionate and loves human interaction. He does not like cats but is good with other dogs and kids. Luke is eager to please and just wants a person to love on him and be with him all the time. He will make a great companion dog for someone or a family. He is just now a year old and weighs 45lbs.
**Luke was enrolled in the Paws in Prison Program for 8 weeks of obedience training. He will be at the North Central Unit in Calico Rock. He will be crate trained, learn manners, and he will learn lots of tricks as well! Luke will be looking for a forever home before he graduates in mid September, so if you are interested in meeting him, please contact us!
